God Showers You With Blessings

Praise the lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases … who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 103:2-3,5

Many busy, high-energy people are list makers. They have lists for everything—letters/emails to write, home improvement projects (in order of priority), presents to buy, sights to see on their next vacation, and on and on the lists go. But how many times do people take time to stop and list all the good things God has done?

David did this in Psalm 103, and the result was spectacular. He erupted in praise as he recited the long list of amazing blessings he’d received from God.

Guess what? This is not just David’s list, it’s also God’s list of promises to you. Which of these blessings do you need most today?

GOD’S PROMISE TO ME
• I forgive your sin.

• I heal your diseases.

• I surround you with love and mercy.

• I fill your life with good things.

MY PRAYER TO GOD
You are worthy of praise, Lord, for you do countless good things for your children. Forgive me for the times I fail to acknowledge your blessings in my life. Forgiveness, healing, rescue, love, mercy—you fill my life with undeserved blessings. Teach me the wonderful habit of counting my blessings.
