God Uses Your Troubles For Good

God Uses Your Troubles For Good

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28

Viewed from below, the weaving project looks like a disastrous mess of tangled, knotted thread. A peek from above, however, reveals a tapestry of stunning beauty. It is perspective that makes all the difference.

That’s the message of Romans 8:28. God promises to cause everything to work together for good in the lives of those who love him and are seeking to live for him. Your suffering, your disappointments, your temptations, your failures—God has pledged to take all that’s bad and transform it—somehow—into good.

If your life looks messy from your vantage point, just remember God is still weaving, and the view is quite different from where he sits.

GOD’S PROMISE TO ME
• I cause everything to work for good in the lives of those who love and serve me.

MY PRAYER TO GOD
God, nothing can thwart your plans for me. I praise you for the way you orchestrate all the events of life. You are weaving a masterpiece. I trust you even though the process is painful. Help me to cling to you in the darkest times of trouble.
