Almighty. Invincible. Unstoppable. Supreme. All great words to describe the infinite power of the living God.

Theologians like to refer to God’s limitless strength as his omnipotence—from the Latin words omni, meaning “all” and potens meaning “power.” In short, God has all power. There is nothing too difficult for him (see Genesis 18:14).
People in trouble have every right to call upon God’s awesome power. It honors the Lord when we ask him for “God-sized” things. But a word of caution is in order: Don’t think of God’s might as being displayed only when your problems are dramatically taken away. Sometimes the greater miracle occurs when you are able, because of God’s sustaining strength, to endure crushing troubles.
GOD’S PROMISE TO ME
• I am the God of miracles and wonders.
• I possess awesome power.
MY PRAYER TO GOD
O, Lord, you are able to do miracles and work wonders. Remind me daily of your limitless power. I serve a God who can do anything and everything. You demonstrate your infinite strength among the nations. Display that same might in my life today. If you choose not to deliver me from my trials, then give me the ability to hang on and keep trusting you.
