God Keeps His Promises

God Keeps His Promises

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
Isaiah 7:14

On a journey, as you navigate by reading the signs on a highway, you have the expectation that the signs are accurate and will help you get to your destination as promised.

God also provides “signs” to help his people understand that he keeps his promises. These “signs” are prophecies of events that would take place.

When God promised that a Savior would be born, he used the prophet Isaiah to tell the people what to look for: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son.” By this amazing sign the people would know that the Messiah came from God.

We celebrate the Advent of the Savior because God faithfully kept his promise. You can trust him to keep all of his promises.
